Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling is a player that is very high up on Chelsea’s list and with his contract expiring in June 2023 it is definitely a situation to keep an eye on.

With the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Inter on the cards, Chelsea are confident to close Sterling deal, with head coach Thomas Tuchel a big fan of the Englishman. The 27-year-old is originally from London, which could make a move to the west London side appeal to him. The club is now working: the transfer fee could be around 35 million pounds deal.

Another winger Chelsea have been linked to is Barcelona’s Ousmane Demebele, whose contract is set to expire at the end of this month, which would make him a free agent. The 25-year-old currently has no intent to accept the current proposal from the Spanish side.

  1. THESE DAYS IF YOU'RE NOT SPENDING TO RECOVER,THEN STOP SPENDING 💰, I'm no longer waiting for the GRANT LOAN because I earn $50,000 every 7 days recently

  2. ur smoking on shit if u think city will sell Jesus for 50 mil and sterling for 30 mil that too to a direct rival 🤣…sterling experience is needed this yr ..much like gundagon ..gundo and sterling will leave for free next season ( and not sold for peanuts ..city value what they bring to the team this yr more than the few millions they get on sale ) ..city also plan on leao and Bellingham to replace the 2 positions as their contracts will also naturally go hand in hand..sterling to real madrid on a free nxt yr

  3. sterling needs a change. he's been great for us over the years but his last two seasons have been poor. wish him all the best if he goes bit he won't be missed on the pitch tbh.

  4. If under £40mil, then YES! Sterling can improve Chelsea's attack & Tuchel rates him so all in all not bad move at all.
Hopefully, Chelsea also go for or atleast try to go for Lewandowski and Koulibaly. 💙

  5. Sterling excites me a lot as a chelsea fan. Sure some people may say that its not good were going for citys scraps but we've seen how Sterling has been a key part for city in title winning seasons as well as for England. Well finally be signing an attacker with prem experience who won't have to go through the culture shock of a more intense league and moving to a new country. Besides 35 million is a steal if that is the price.

Nathan Ake however doesn't excite me what so ever. Sure Terry says he could be a backup but I would rather have Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah as back ups who can one day take the mantle of Thiago Silva.

  6. Chelsea biggest flaw in the transfer market since 2016 has been signing players who can 'come in and do a job'. Chalobah, Colwill and Ampadu can 'come in and do a job', as could have Guehi, Tomori AND indeed Ake himself, who all left Chelsea because they couldn't get opportunities. With all this in mind, I still don't understand how people can still get behind the idea of signing squad players at the expense of youth talent.

  7. Sterling may miss some chances but he is one hell of a player. He scores so many goals and creates havoc in opposing defences. He is so fast and, as a City fan, would be sorry to see him go. No chance we would sell him for 35M.
