Hello and welcome back to Euro Football Daily where today we are running through 5 players that Erik Ten Hag should sign for Man United this summer.

With multiple players leaving the club, this is time for yet another rebuild, and we suggest the former Ajax manager looks at right back, centre back, central midfield, striker and right wing as priority areas.

Suggesting names like Darwin Nunez, Sergej Milinković-Savić, Jurrien Timber and Raphinha, we look forward to hearing what you guys make of it!

  1. Edson Alvarez seems more realistic than SMS, just coming off a great season for ten haag’s title winning team. He would also be what united need in that midfield.

  2. The Raphinha suggestion solid one. I think fixing the RW is a more pressing issue than a striker given the no. of forward options ( Martial, Elanga, Rashford, Greenwood*)if there's any outgoings then that should be looked as being a necessity. This is in regards to the market and the transfer budget. Should we think of Jonathan David as an option given the heat on him has dialled down
Who else the fixation with ex Ajax or Ajax players is a bit of the top given that it's a huge step up from Eredivise to the Pl. In recent seasons close to no eredivise player has had a successful transition.
Sangare/ Laimer are options too midfield options in my view De Jong wants tp play that Busquests/Pirlo role as the regista or deep playmaker but with a midfield partner who can do more of the defensive work.

  3. As a barcelona fan I can honestly tell u Dest isnt worth it.. his lack of physicality and inexperience are clear in big games

  4. "Raphinha once said his dream was to win the World Cup and a move to Old Trafford could go a long way to helping him realize that goal"

HOW. I would love a breakdown or small explanation on how tf a move to Man United helps him win the biggest accolade in the sport.

  5. Although Utd could do with attackers the Midfield and full backs should still be maximum priority. Ronaldo, Sancho, Rashford and Martial all give you strong cover up top especially under a good coach although 1 or 2 signings would not hurt. They however don’t have one proper 6 or 8 that’s up to scratch, hopefully they give Garner a chance but they need multiple strong midfielders. As for full backs the left is fine if Shaw is fit but the right needs serious work, although if they line up with the Pep defence with AWB playing more as a 3rd CB like Walker does there could be a role for him

  6. Benfica ask for too much money because in Darwin’s contract, there’s a percentage fee inserted… meaning that Almería his former club get to keep 15-25% of the money Benfica make off him..

  7. My signings would be: Timber, Sangaré, de Jong, Eriksen and Jonathan David. I think that's reasonable in 1 transfer window, not looking to win the league, just solid improvement for now. Would bring Ethan Laird into the squad at RB and persist with Dalot for the time being. Bring Williams back and bin Telles as well, we have Fernandez as 3rd choice. Nunez is way overpriced. If David doesn't work out, can always sign a markee forward next season.

  8. Would rather see us make some slightly more left field moves to make use of the budget better. Someone like Sangare over SMS, or Someone like David over Nunez

  9. Raphinha going to united has zero influence on him winning a world cup with brazil… if anything he could get less game time if sancho steps up and risk his spot in the brazil squad

  10. I’ve watched 3 games of dest I’ve seen enough.
Edit: didn’t even see milinkovic savic, this vid is madness one of the worst I’ve seen from football daily.

  11. If they want SMS from Lazio then they will be paying too dollar.. Lotito won’t budge on that. And if he went they would need to add to the rebuilding process they have going on already. So I wouldn’t expect a bargain. And I doubt he would leave 5th place Lazio for 6th place united. If he was moving he would go to a team that will finish in the champions league. He can literally walk into any midfield so why go to united. Lack of unity new coach and bad results and egos. Not sure his calm collected nature would enjoy that.

  12. Imagine thinking a 20 year old in he’s debut season playing in the Dutch league is going to walk in and replace Maguire you guys are drunk 🥴

  13. Love the new animation. Very professional, but also fun, it's almost like I'm watching athletic interest.

The new music is cool as well, but I prefer the old tune,…. for nostalgic purposes. I've watch yall since daaayyy
